Information automatically collected

- Mobile identifiers, such as Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), which are used for internal analytics and service functionality.
If applicable and subject to your consent, we may also process the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) in accordance with applicable laws and platform requirements. Where required, IDFA is collected only after obtaining your permission through the applicable system prompt.
Data Categories and Data Types
Muse processes limited categories of personal data necessary to provide and operate the Service. These data categories include:
- Identity and Contact Information: Information such as your name and email address, if you voluntarily provide it (for example, when contacting us for support).
- User-Uploaded Content: Images or photos that you choose to upload to the Service for the purpose of generating AI-based results. Such images may contain human faces. Muse does not perform facial recognition, biometric identification, or extract facial templates or facial feature data from these images.
- Device and Technical Information: Information related to the device and application you use to access the Service, including IP address, device type and name, operating system, application version, language settings, and general usage information.
- Transaction Information: In-app purchase and subscription information processed through the applicable app store. Muse does not receive or store full payment card details.
- Mobile Identifiers: Identifier for Vendors (IDFV), used for internal analytics and service functionality. Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA), if applicable, is processed only with your explicit permission and in accordance with applicable platform requirements.
- Data Collection Methods: We collect the above information directly from you, from your device, or automatically through your use of the Service. Certain information may also be provided by app distribution platforms (such as Apple App Store or Google Play) in connection with purchases or subscriptions, in accordance with their policies.
- Log Data: When you use the Service, we may collect log data generated by your device or application, which may include IP address, device identifiers, operating system version, app configuration, timestamps, and diagnostic information. This data is used to maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve the Service.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate, maintain, and provide the Service, as well as for administrative and support-related purposes, as described below.
Provide Our Services
We use your information to fulfill our contract with you and to provide the Service, including to:
- Generate AI-based visual content and image effects based on the images and inputs you choose to upload;
- Create and manage your account and preferences;
- Provide access to features and functionalities of the Service;
- Respond to customer support or technical inquiries;
- Communicate with you regarding your account, service-related updates, and policy changes; and
- Facilitate purchases and subscriptions processed through applicable app store platforms.
Administrative and Operational Purposes
We use your information for legitimate administrative and operational purposes necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service, including to:
- Maintain the security and integrity of our systems and prevent fraud or abuse;
- Detect, investigate, and respond to security incidents or malicious activity;

Muse does not access your contacts, does not collect information about the recipients of shared content, and does not control how such content is further used once shared.

Muse processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and generally accepted data protection principles. In particular, personal data are processed:

- To process purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions through applicable app store platforms;

- To analyze usage of the Service and improve functionality, performance, and user experience, including through aggregated and non-identifying analytics;
- To deliver and measure advertising campaigns, where applicable, in accordance with user permissions and platform requirements;
- To maintain the security, integrity, and availability of the Service, including fraud prevention, abuse detection, and system monitoring; and
- To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
Muse does not process personal data for purposes that are incompatible with those described in this Privacy Policy.

- AI technology and processing service providers used to support AI-based features and content generation.
When using advertising and marketing service providers, Visionular may share limited device-level or event-based information (such as advertising identifiers, device information, or app interaction events) for advertising delivery and measurement purposes. Visionular does not share users’ names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other direct contact information with advertising partners unless explicitly provided by the user and permitted by applicable law.
Where required by law or platform policies, such data is shared only after obtaining the user’s permission (for example, through system-level consent mechanisms such as App Tracking Transparency).
Some third-party service providers may be located outside of your country of residence. In such cases, Visionular implements appropriate safeguards to ensure that personal data is protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Visionular does not sell personal data and does not share personal data with third parties for profiling purposes beyond the advertising and measurement activities described above.
Personal data may also be disclosed where required by law, regulation, or in response to lawful requests from competent public authorities.
Sale of Business
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction involving Visionular or its affiliates, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and Visionular does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
